Alice graduated with a Bachelor in Health Science and Masters in Podiatric Practice in 2012 from La Trobe University. Since graduating, she has also completed a level II Pilates Instructors course through the Australian Pilates Method Association. Alice has been working as a Podiatrist down on the Bellarine Peninsula for the last 5 years and before that in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. Just recently she decided to make the move back to Bendigo where she first started working as a new graduate Podiatrist 10 years ago. Her key area of interest is in keeping people of all ages moving and functioning to the best of their ability whether that be through general foot and nail care, or getting people back to sports and activities post injury. Alice also has extensive experience working in a Podiatry based footwear store, fitting runners and casual shoes via treadmill gait analysis, giving her a thorough knowledge in footwear that not only feel and functions well, but looks good too! With her Pilates background, Alice takes on a full body focus and is a big advocate for getting other disciplines involved to ensure a full body recovery and return to activity. Outside of work Alice enjoys to travel, family time and while making the move from the coast, will always enjoy getting back down to the surf coast with her beach loving kelpie x lab Winnie. |
