MEET THE TEAM
Shaun White B.Pod (Hons).
Shaun is the proprietor of Active Podiatry and loves a challenge.
He graduated a Bachelor of Podiatry with honours from Latrobe University in 2001. He has a special interest in Sports Podiatry and has had a research article on Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome (Shin splints) published in the American Journal of Sports Medicine. His other specialist area is Diabetic Foot Care having worked in three specialist Diabetic Foot Clinics at Austin Health, Manchester (UK) and locally at Bendigo Health.
Outside of podiatry, Shaun enjoys playing and supporting AFL football, triathlon's, hockey and spending time with his young family.
In addition to managing his own practice, Active Podiatry, Shaun has been involved in teaching undergraduate podiatry to students from La Trobe University at the Bendigo Campus and is a current member of the Australian Podiatry Association (Victoria APODC).

Jessica Southon Ma.Pod (Hons).
Jessica, Bendigo born and bred, graduated from La Trobe University Bendigo in 2013, with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Podiatric Practice (Honours).
Jessica has developed a strong interested in the diabetic/high risk foot, and is currently involved in a clinical trial evaluating exercise as a treatment for Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy at La Trobe University with supervisors Byron Perrin and Professor Michael Kingsley. Jessica is also our expert shoe fitter of Dr Comfort shoes, a range of diabetic friendly shoes that caters for those hard to fit feet! Jessica is interested in all aspects of podiatry, and is a current member of the Australian Podiatry Association (Victoria APODC).
Jessica's interests outside of work include long distance running, netball and swimming.

Jonathan Delany Ma.Pod
Jonathan graduated from La Trobe University Melbourne in 2014 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and Master of Podiatric Practice.
Since then Jonathan has been working as a member of the Diabetic Foot Unit at Eastern Health where he remains on the team part time. He has also worked as a 2nd year clinical supervisor to La Trobe University podiatry students and continues to mentor third and fourth year students on their external placements in the hospital. Jonathan enjoys all aspects of podiatry including footwear fitting and education, diabetic foot care and the diagnosis and management of a wide range of musculoskeletal foot and ankle pathologies.
Outside of work Jonathan is a keen swimmer, traveller and Collingwood Football Club supporter

Sally Deed B.Podiatry
Sally has been a Podiatrist in Bendigo for the past 6 years and has recently moved to Echuca joining the Active Podiatry team.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Podiatry from LaTrobe University in Bundoora, Melbourne, Sally is experienced in all aspects of Podiatry and has developed a special interest in Diabetes related complications, wound management and the relationship between foot pain and the prevention of falls in the elderly.
In addition to working with Active Podiatry, Sally works part time at Echuca Regional Health and is involved with foot management services for this region.
In her spare time Sally enjoys Hockey, Volleyball and Mountain bike riding.
