Cycling Orthotics

Active Podiatry offers individually prescribed cycling orthotics that are designed by Podiatrist's who actual cycle!

Our cycling orthotics are manufactured by Footwork in Melbourne for those cycling enthusiasts that are seeking optimal comfort and performance during cycling.

Custom made cycling orthotics generally closely contour the foot and shoe to maximise power and torque transfer during every pedal stroke. They can also help relieve pain in the plantar fascia (arch) as well as any forefoot issues (hot spots and numbness).

A digital 3D scan of your feet is taken by one of our Podiatrist's who then considers the design of your custom made cycling orthotic. Your foot shape, cycling shoe and any foot issues will be taken into consideration during this process.

Your cycling orthotics are manufactured using lightweight but stiff carbon fibre shells. They are then covered with a hard wearing moisture resistant top cover.
